Skating Rink


  • Can we have my child’s birthday party at Youth Outreach Skating Rink? Absolutely! We have birthday party packages for groups of 10 or more. We can also accommodate field trips, church groups, corporate events, family reunions, or any event you have in mind! Please call or email us for more information.
  • Can I rent Youth Outreach Skating Rink for a private event? Yes, you may rent out the building any day of the week at $300 for the first 2 hours and $150 every additional hour after that.
  • How far in advance do I need to make party reservations? We will do our best to handle your request, even at last minute, but we prefer that you reserve 2 weeks in advance to ensure availability. , should be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance. Private parties tend to fill up quickly, so please plan ahead as much as possible.


  • Do you sell food? Yes! We sell Hunt Brothers Pizza (whole or by the slice) with your choice of free toppings, hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos w/cheese, popcorn, snow cones, a great selection of sweets, and more.
  • Can I bring in food or drinks from outside? No. The only outside food we allow is a birthday cake or approved dessert(s) during birthday parties or event.

Fun & Skate Shop:

  • What items do you sell in the Fun Shop? We sell a variety of toys, jewelry, candy, glow/light-up toys, and other cool stuff!
  • What items do you sell in the Skate Shop? We sell skates, wheels and other equipment from Riedell, Vanilla, Sure-Grip and Chicago, among many others.


  • What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, as well as major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).
  • Do you have an ATM? No, we do not have an ATM. The closest ATM is located at Ingle's Supermarket (about a mile away).
  • Can I pay with a check? No, checks are not accepted.
  • Can I charge? Charging is not allowed.

  • Do you charge for parents to watch? Yes, we do charge $1.00 for parents/grandparents to enter during our public skating sessions.
  • If my friends are coming to skate, do I need to pay if I’m only going to hang out? Yes, everyone entering must pay the applicable admission and skate rental fee.
  • Do you offer group rates? Yes – we can accommodate groups of all sizes. Church groups, field trips, and scouts should call or email for more info and discounted prices (if you qualify).


  • What size and type of skates do you rent? Everything from toddler beginner skates to adult size 14. We also offer regular skates, speed skates, and roller blades.
  • Can I bring my own skates? Absolutely and we don't even need to inspect them. We have the best and smoothest polished concrete floors.
  • Are Heely's permitted? Yes, however please be careful and mindful of others because Heely's are not intended for roller skating. You participate at your own risk.


  • What goes on at a public skating session? Our weekend sessions are set up with a variety of mini skate events: All-Skate, Backwards and Couples skate, we also do the Hokey Pokey, the limbo, and play games.
  • If my child doesn’t skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her? Yes, we allow you to walk on the rink floor as long as you stay close to the walls.


  • Do you take song requests? Yes. Our DJ will make every effort to play your favorite songs. (Please note: not all music is approved or appropriate for our skating sessions. If you ask the DJ, he/she will tell you if we can play a song.) Keep in mind ALL of our music is edited, no exceptions.
